The Association "Bulgarian Association for Technology Transfer and Innovation" is pleased to present to the general public the pioneering application for registration of disasters and accidents for Bulgaria.
As part of the "ALERT" project BSB 538, BATTI organized the development of this mobile application, and at the event one of its creators will demonstrate its full functionality by introducing participants to the method of work.
Other results of the project will also be presented at the event, in the context of its objectives and the implementation tasks assigned to the association.
After the essence of the presentations, there is time for questions and discussion, as well as a coffee break.
The web-based platform and the mobile application for volunteer registration and disaster alerting aim to build a network of volunteers who can use the resources available in it to build a basic competence to respond to disasters, accidents and incidents. The application and the platform will add information on the most common natural disasters and accidents, prevention measures and instructions for dealing with them.
Users of the application and the web platform can report disasters and accidents and respond to alerts from other users.
The application and the web platform are also a source of information on the other activities of the ALERT project "Black Sea Joint Monitoring and Protection of the Environment", in order to ensure its publicity.
